What is Forensic Watermarking?

Forensic watermarking is the art of hiding data within an image so that it is invisible to the naked eye but readable by our scanners.

The Frequency Domain

Unlike a visible logo, which sits on top of the pixels, our watermark is embedded into the frequency domain of the image using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT).

"It is not just about hiding information; it is about making it impossible to remove without destroying the image itself."

This means even if a thief crops the image or takes a screenshot, the ID remains detectable.

See it in action on your own files.

Upload any image and Vulta embeds a forensic watermark invisibly — then try to find it yourself.
